Located in the bustling Taman Gembira area of Kuala Lumpur, Decades Homemade Chee Cheong Fun offers a delightful culinary journey that not only fills your stomach but also warms your heart. As soon as you step through the doors, the blend of nostalgic flavors and a cozy, homely vibe greets you, making it a must-visit for food lovers and nostalgia seekers alike.

This quaint café specializes in the beloved Malaysian dish, Chee Cheong Fun (CCF). With its unique recipe passed down from the owner’s father, this establishment is not your average eatery. Customers rave about the delightful variations, including the popular CCF Platter, which serves as a perfect introduction for first-timers. Diners are treated to a medley of flavors, from fried CCF generously topped with crunchy bean sprouts to the intriguing Black CCF, which pairs surprisingly well with tomato sauce. The essence of these dishes is elevated by the care put into each ingredient and presentation.

Don't miss out on the Yam Cake and the rich Dried Shrimp Chee Cheong Fun, both celebrated for their authentic taste that reminds many of culinary experiences from years gone by. For a warm pick-me-up, pair your meal with a cup of their cappuccino or latte, making this spot perfect for a relaxed brunch or an afternoon catch-up with friends.

Customers have commented on the friendly service, praising the welcoming demeanor of the staff, particularly the owner, who creates a sense of community within this small café. However, do prepare yourself for potential peak hour waits, as the popularity of their dishes often leads to busy dining sessions.

Real patrons share sentiments that encapsulate the experience: from the warmth of meeting old friends again over a plate of beloved flavors, to the comfort of a place that feels like home. One customer elegantly described their experience as “more than just a restaurant; it’s a trip down memory lane!”

Decades Cafe is more than just a restaurant; it's a trip down memory lane! Having been a patron of their PJ stall back in the day, visiting this new location brought back a flood of fond memories. The owner's warm and welcoming demeanor is a highlight, creating a genuinely friendly and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. What truly sets Decades Cafe apart is their incredible CCF. While the classic is still on offer, I was delighted to discover they've expanded their menu with some exciting new variations compared to their original PJ branch. It's clear they've put effort into innovating and offering a wider range of flavors. The CCF was absolutely delicious, a testament to their continued dedication to quality. Beyond the food and the friendly owner, the restaurant itself is a welcome upgrade. The clean and well-maintained environment makes for a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. And to top it all off, the prices are remarkably reasonable, making Decades Cafe a fantastic value for money.

Honestly, the CCF taste is just so so. I think it is because of the varieties of CCF that made them popular. I order the platter CCF and I found that the glutinous rice and yam cake tasted ordinary, maybe perhaps they have been there for a long time and it is a standalone store, so they have their loyal patrons. Just my honest opinion and not representing everyone ok. You may give it a try...

The CCF platter is a nice taste teaser for 1st timer. The fried CCF is tasty and I like the generous portion of bean sprout. The boss is so kind to treat us to charcoal CCF with tomato sauce which to me as to be an acquired taste but worthy as culinary adventure. It’s simple , down-to-earth and homely.

A home-based business selling home made chee cheong fun. Just at corner lot. Thus, parking is really difficult. The chee cheong fun is special recipe by her father. Many years ago I tried her father's ccf in PJ. Super yummy. Not like the common single layer type. Today we ordered fried chee cheong fun and tomato dried shrimp chee cheong fun. Surprisingly it has cappucino and latte too. The coffee are not rich enough. The fried chee cheong fun is my like. It tastes like chao kuih ka. With lot of bean sprout. The tomato dried shrimp chee cheong fun taste good too. The fried bean curd is very crispy. Will come again.

Specialised Chee Cheong Fun (CCF) restaurant that also offers Black CCF, Snacks (Yam, Glutinous Rice, Curry Chicken, Fu Chuk, etc), Red Bea Tong Shui, etc. Atmosphere: 3.75 Not a lot of seats (2 x 2, 1 x 4, 1 x 6). The place is spacious though and quite comfy. Service: 3.75 Friendly service. Seems to have 30 mins Dine In session limit (during peak hours I think). Food: CCF Platter - CCF 3.5, Sengkuang 3.5, Yam Cake 3.25 Signature that includes a few items.

Chee cheong fun taste ok. Made fresh. It’s like eating at your neighbour house being served by aunty wearing pyjamas. Funny enough they even have shortage of cups despite only 2 tables of patrons. Atmosphere is quite warm. Only with fan. Suggest visiting in the morning would be better or just order for take out.
